This 120 meter long wreck, the USAT Liberty (often misnamed as USS Liberty) was working as a cargo ship during World War II, when a torpedo from a Japanese submarine hit it. TK1 or Teluk Tembahu 1 is a sheltered site right in front of the resort and the entire area offers a wide variety of critters in shallow, easy conditions. The Cross Wreck is one of Raja Ampat's more accessible wreck dives. It lies close to shore in just 18 meters of water.
