Nice rooms and common area. Dive skiffs perfect. Both the whips for filling tanks blew during the first few days...so equipment was constantly schelpped up out of the skiffs. I had a dump valve on a bc damaged and a reg holder, but oh well. Food was great and meh at the same time. Have the mi goreng for breakfast everyday ! It was incredible....but the jumbo prawns we had were overcooked every time we had them, which was often. The vegetarians ate best I think. Our dive guides were awesome. Everything was superbly organized: the rooms, the beautifull hikes, the guided dives and the excellent service of the crew. This was our second time on this wonderfull boat and we really recommend everyone to go and experience this fantastic liveaboard journey. It's been a few days since I returned home from my trip with The Seven Seas and I still can't believe what an unbelievable experience it was. We went to Raja Ampat and though the diving was breathtaking, what really made the trip so incredible was The Seven Seas and her crew. If you're looking for a live aboard, I don't think there is a better option than this! Upon boarding the ship, the crew was quick to know each guest and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly with impeccable service from start to finish. The food was beyond expectations and I loved the little snacks that were ready for us after each dive. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and there are various group spaces on the boat for relaxing and socializing, though I have to say my personal favorite is the bow of the ship at night with all the stars. :) Between all this and the magical place that is Raja Ampat, I doubt any future trip will come close to this one. Again, if you're looking for a liveaboard, THIS IS IT. I can't thank The Seven Seas crew enough for the amazing experience. Thank you thank you! sonia goggelJanuary 6, 2017Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Traveling with the Seven Seas liveaboard is an absolutely unforgettable experience, to be repeated as many times as one possibly can!! The diving all over Indonesia, to remote and less remote destinations, offered by the Seven Seas, is the best the world has to offer. There are many other liveaboards in Indonesia, so why the Seven Seas? From the moment you board this magnificent and comfortable ship, you feel at home and cared for in the most genuine way, you are a part of a family. The Crew and Karl and Linda, the Cruise Directors, are also highly professional, and most have been on board for many years (both Captains, and Karl and Linda have been on Seven Seas since its beginnings), making you feel extremely safe above and underwater. You just want to keep coming back for more over and over again!! Most of us leave the Seven Seas knowing when our next trip will be, as leaving would be unbearable otherwise!! See for yourself, you will not regret it, but careful, you might be hooked forever, like the rest of us ;-) Chris HancockDecember 17, 2016Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just returned from a 16 day experience "Forgotten Islands" and cannot wait until my next trip on this fabulous boat in August 2017. The Forgotten Islands tour was my second on the Seven Seas and my husband's first - we both loved it. The diving was fantastic (especially the manta rays!) interspersed with kayaking, fishing and a couple of land tours. We did 3 to 4 dives each day and some truly incredible (and remote) sites. The crew are all incredibly good at what they do and really work together as a team and with good humour. Meals were fantastic and it was amazing how well the various preferences of all guests were catered for. The wine selection was also excellent (perhaps a little too good as it was hard to say no to a relaxing glass of wine after a day of diving!). My husband was a bit nervous about being on a live aboard for 16 days as likes to do a variety of activities however this was absolutely possible including some very relaxing afternoon naps on the upper back deck lounge area :). My thanks to the Seven Seas team for making it such a fantastic trip - already booked in for August 2017 and December 2018!!!

The Seven Seas does not pre-set any itineraries as this is probably the single worst practice in adventure cruising, leading potentially only to misunderstandings, discomfort and even dangerous situations.

Komodo National Park
Komodo National Park is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its stunning diversity of natural beauty, Komodo National Park is without a doubt, one of the best places on earth to explore on a liveaboard boat trip.
From trekking the savannah for an up-close encounter with the legendary dragons to exploring an unbelievable variety of dive sites, Komodo offers an unforgettable for every guest aboard the Seven Seas. Komodo was our very first destination on The Seven Seas – let us show you the very best of this world-class adventure travel and scuba diving destination.
Wakatobi
Also known as the Tukang Besi Archipelago, the Wakatobi Marine National Park is the second largest Marine Park in Indonesia. Its four main islands of Wangi-Wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia and Binongko each lend the first two letters of their names to give the area its name.
Fast attracting a reputation as one of the top dive spots in the world, it’s hardly surprising as the islands enjoy some of the healthiest coral reefs you are likely to dive.
Banda Sea
Once sought by Columbus and Marco Polo, the Banda Islands were the original Spice Islands and the most coveted destination on earth, particularly by the Dutch and Portuguese who colonized the islands and exported the indigenous nutmeg and cloves.
History tells of a violent past under colonial rule. Now, the seas around these tropical paradise islands are coveted for their spectacular diving and snorkelling on some of the world’s richest reefs, unspoiled corals, and large pelagic fish.
Raja Ampat
The legendary Raja Ampat archipelago to the northwest, Cenderawasih Bay to the north, and Triton Bay to the south, the variety of experiences available in West Papua range from unforgettable scuba dives, sea kayaking / SUP paddling across a constellation of beautiful islands, world-class hiking and bird-watching opportunities, and so much more.
Known as the Bird’s Head Seascape, this ecological treasure trove covers more than 225,000 square kilometers and is home to the world’s most biodiverse coral reefs. Exploring Raja Ampat and the surrounding Seascape is one of our signature trips aboard the Seven Seas – let us show you the very very best of this amazing paradise in Eastern Indonesia.
Komodo Deep South
Diving the Southern sites of Komodo National Park, and surrounding islands, has always been very exciting and unusual. Rocky canyons and pinnacles are heavily encrusted with marine invertebrate life, with lots of color and fish. Night diving, without a doubt, is one of the highlights here; lots of critters, and far superior to any of the sites in the north.
The only problem, during the “traditional” Komodo season from May through September, was that most of the time, the water was cold and murky, and when you got back to the boat, your towel had been blown off the deck by the South easterlies.
But, we will now show you the south side as you have never seen it before, and during the time that you should be there, during the Northwest Monsoon!
Forgotten Islands
Indonesia’s “Forgotten Islands” – also known as the Southeast Moluccas (Maluku Tenggara) – are not a single destination, but rather a 1,000 km long chain of archipelagos stretching from Timor to West Papua on the island of New Guinea.
Undeveloped, distant from population centers and far off any beaten path, these “Forgotten Islands” have been largely isolated from the rest of Indonesia and the world.
The terrain of these islands varies from forested mountainous peaks in the Inner Banda Arc of islands (Wetar, Roma, Damar, Nila), with peaks as high as 868 m (on Damer) to essentially flat islands of the easternmost Aru and Kei island groups, dominated by savannah, mangroves and broadleaf forests.
East of Flores
Recognized as one of Asia’s ‘Top 10 dive destinations’, the archipelago east of Flores is one of our favorite areas to explore on our liveaboard dive adventures.
With an endless horizon punctuated with the peaks of rugged volcanoes, an invitation to visit ancient animist villages, dive sites ranging from macro / muck diving all the way up to the chance to glimpse the world’s largest mammal – the Seven Seas East of Flores & Alor voyage offers our guests one of the most unique scuba diving / adventure travel experiences available anywhere on earth.
Triton Bay
Our newest cruises have ventured to Triton Bay, where divers and snorkelers have the chance to dive and snorkel with whale sharks (and sometimes dolphins) below the traditional ‘bagan’ used by local fishermen to catch small fish.
With new dives and snorkels discovered on many of our voyages here, your divemasters aboard the Seven Seas invite you to experience an unbelievable variety of dive spots in Raja Ampat.
