Around the north shore of Sulawesi you can find an easy muck diving site, to avoid after heavy rains and during the northwestern monsoon (Dec - March). All kinds of weird creatures (critters) like in Lembeh Strait can be met here: scorpion leaffish, ghostpipe fish, pipefish, scorpionfish, angler fish; a gentle sandy slope takes you down to 15 - 17, max 22 m. Try to avoid whirling up sand with your fins.
