One of the more popular dive sites is Shark Point with its ledges and excellent sights of different types of sharks.

Shark Point is on the West Coast of Gili Trawangan and as the name suggests is one of the best places for finding Sharks in the Gilis. You can find whitetips, blacktips and even grey reef sharks. But Shark Point is not just about the sharks, there is an abundance of turtles here, and usually some large schools of Snapper, Trevally and often Barracuda. Also Shark Point can throw up the odd surprise such as Devil Rays, Eagle Rays and even the occasional Manta.
