  1. Pulau Weh : Pulau Weh remains, even after the horrible 2005 tsunami, an underwater pearl with many different kinds of diving.
    1. Batee Meudoro : Batee Meuduro is a huge remote pinnacle in the south of Pulau Weh.
    2. Shark Plateau : If you are interested in sharks you should visit Shark Plateau where many species of sharks can be spotted from nearby.
    3. Sophie Rickmers Wreck : The German cargo vessel named Sophie Rickmers Wreck was purposely sunk by the German army to prevent confiscation.
    1. Amuk Bay, Padang Bay : Diving at the thrilling high current dive sites around Amuk Bay and the slightly more sheltered Padang Bay.
      1. Biaha : Biaha is a small island northeast of Amuk Bay, a haven for huge fish, sharks, sunfish as well as reef fish and smaller critters.
      2. Blue Lagoon : The Blue Lagoon is one of the more popular dive sites in Padang Bay offering excellent reef formations, plenty of fish and colorful coral.
      3. Mimpang : Mimpang is one of the places where chances of diving with many reef sharks are huge.
      4. Tepekong : Tepekong Island is another nice island surrounded with excellent reefs, sharks and other big fish.
    2. Menjangan Island : Menjangan Island is part of a National Park where marine life and coral growth is well maintained and controlled to make sure it flourishes.
      1. Anker Wreck : The Anker Wreck is named after an anchor and the remains of a nineteenth century wooden shipwreck.
    3. Nusa Dua : This touristy peninsula filled with resorts, bars, nightlife and diving is a great opportunity for some relaxation.
    4. Nusa Lembongan : Nusa Lembongan is a long thin island just northwest of Nusa Penida famous for its white sand and clear beaches.
      1. Blue Corner : Blue Corner is a great drift dive with pelagic, sharks, sunfish and other huge fish hunting at the wall around this corner.
    5. Nusa Penida : Southwest of Bali you will find Nusa Penida, a beautiful island with crystal clear waters and prolific coral formations.
      1. Crystal Bay : Crystal Bay is blessed with excellent visibilities and a small Bat Cave which can be surfaced from beneath the water.
      2. Gamat Bay : Gamat Bay is a sheltered bay right in the channel between Nusa Penida and Ceningan but not experiencing strong currents.
      3. Malibu Point : Malibu Point is a bit far off from the main island, but offers excellent chances of diving with sharks, manta rays and Mola-Mola
      4. Manta Point : Manta Point is a place west of Nusa Penida where planktonic activity is high attracting many huge manta rays.
      5. SD : Just of SD Point you can enjoy the beauties of huge coral heads and many marine fish.
      6. Toyapakeh : In between Lembogan and Nusa Penida we can dive Toyapakeh, a strong and rich current drift dive.
      1. Tulamben : Tulamben Bay is one of the most popular dive destinations northeast of Bali, Indonesia.

        1. Blongas Bay : Blongas Bay is a popular, tranquil and sheltered bay with some excellent deep boulder dives just offshore.
          1. Magnet : Once you are in Blongas Bay, you most likely want to dive the advanced dive site the Magnet.
        2. Gili Islands : The Gili Islands are excellent novice, intermediate and expert dive destinations ringed with shallow soft and hard coral reefs.
          1. Air Wall : The spectacular wall dive Air Wall has some spectacular coral formation, arches and overhangs.
          2. BioRock : One of the Indonesian attempts to maintain the underwater biosphere was made through the iron and metal at BioRock.
          3. Bounty : Bounty is one of the best muck and macro dive sites in the Gilis formed out the remains of an old pier.

          8. Halik Reef : Halik Reef offers a steep slope with canyons often full of resting turtles.
          9. Hans Reef : Hans Reef is a rocky dive site full of bommies and known for its macro life and juvenile fish.
          10. Manta Point : Manta Point is a great spot for reef sharks and seasonal manta rays.
          11. Meno Slope : Meno Slope is a Gili destination great for photographing macro species and close-ups.
          12. Meno Wall : Meno Wall is a fantastic drift dive next to a wall beautifully colored with soft corals
          13. Mirko's Reef : The healthy reef named Mirko is one full of fish, great coral formations and the unexpected.
          14. Shark Point : One of the more popular dive sites is Shark Point with its ledges and excellent sights of different types of sharks.
          15. Simon's Reef : Simon's Reef is often mentioned as the dive to see sea horses but other fish are plentiful as well.
          16. Takat Malang, Malang Reef : Malang is a small reef just north of Gili Meno and Gili Air, great for spotting rays and groupers.
        3. Senggigi Beach : The main tourist resort area in Lombok is Senggigi beach with very nice diving on its shores as well.
          1. Banta Island : Coral and an enormous rich marine life will greet you while diving all around Banta Island.
            1. Galley Rock : The strong current dive Galley Rock offers excellent chances of spotting large fish but smaller reef inhabitants are common as well.
            2. GPS Point : GPS Point is a submerged pinnacle named because it is so difficult finding this diving site.
            3. White Angels : White Angels is an advanced dive site with strong currents, sharks and many pelagic.
          2. Batu Bolong : One of the most popular diving sites is Batu Bolong with its diversity of walls, fish and mantas.
          3. Batu Tiga : Batu Tiga is a high current dive with lots of big fish and sometimes manta rays.
          4. Castle Rock : Castle Rock is a nice steep and deep rock with fish all around you.
          5. Darat Passage : The fast flowing channel in between Komodo Island and Gili Lawa Laut is named Darat Passage and makes for some excellent drift diving.
          6. End of the World : Dive site End of the World is named since it is considered the end of the world as not many liveaboards go any further.
          7. Gili Lawa Laut : Gili Lawa Laut is a great place for fish with spawning groupers as a highlight in October and November.
          8. Langkoi Rock : Langkoi Rock is one of the top dive sites for spotting sharks with breeding grey reef sharks from April and August.
          9. Loh Namu : While diving Loh Namu it is still possible to find wrasses, trout and groupers.
          10. Pantai Merah, White Beach : Diving and snorkelling off White Beach, Pantai Merah is great, easy and divers.
          11. Pillarsteen, Pillar Rock : Diving at dive site Pillarsteen has walls, small caves, deep and shallow portions and loads of marine life.
          12. Sabayor Kecil : One of the closest dive sites near mainkland Labuan Bajo is around Sabayor Kecil.
            1. Canibal Rock : Canibal Rock is a great dive site inside Horseshoe Bay with a wide variety of marine life and very pretty corals.
            2. Crinoid Canyon : Crinoid Canyon is a nice dive site inside a small cove filled with invertebrate life.
            3. Nusa Kode, Kode Island : Boulders, groupers and other large fish congregate around the south west tip of Kode Island.
            4. Yellow Wall of Texas : Yellow Wall of Texas is one of the most popular wall dives east of Nusa Kode, Rinca Island.
          13. Tala Island : Fish, pelagic and coral are some of the highlights around Tala Island, Komodo.
          14. Tanjung Loh Sera : Tanjung Loh Sera is situated in the less warm southern Komodo waters and therefore housing different corals and fish.
          15. Tatawa Besar : A great drift dive can be done in the twenty meter depth layer around Tatawa Besar.
          16. Tatawa Kecil : South of Tatawa Kecil you might spot some of the gracefull manta rays.
          17. Three Sisters : Three 25 meter tall pinnacles at less than five meters apart from eachother offer some spectacular diving.

          3. Maumere Bay : Maumere Bay is a popular tourist destination devastated by the 1992 tsunami but slowly recovering.
            1. Babi Island : Babi Island Wall is known as a wicked muck diving site perfect for macro photography with many small critters.
            2. Pangah Balang : Dive site Pangah Balang is diving on a sloping wall with coral formations swarmed with fish.
            3. Wai Terang Wreck : Wai Terang is a Japanese wreck that sank during WWII and which is nowadays covered in corals.
          1. Kal's Dream : One of the best and most vividly dive sites in the region of Alor Island is Kal's Dream.
          2. Pertamina Pier : The Pertamina Pier forms a haven for critters and is with reason one of the best muck dives in Alor.
          3. Twilight Zone : Just of the famous hot spring beach near Biangabang village is a relaxing dive site named Twilight Zone.
          1. Rote Island : Rote Island is a relatively unexplored scuba diving paradise that offers stunning reefs and plenty of aquatic life.

          1. Derawan : Derawan, an island close to the shores of Kalimantan, is considered to be one of the muck diving areas in the world.
            1. Kakaban : Kakaban Island is a great coral atoll with steep drift wall diving and a landlocked lake famous for its many non stinging jellyfish.
              1. Barracuda Point : Barracuda Point is an extremely strong drift dive around the southeastern tip of Kakaban.
              2. Blue Light Cave : Blue Light Cave is a deep cave with a narrow chimney, huge chamber and narrow crack as exit point.
              3. Jellyfish Lake : Jelly Fish Lake, a brackish, half sweet, half salt water landlocked lake in the interior of Kakaban has become famous because of its non stinging jellyfish.
            2. Maratua : Diving in Maratua can be as simple as shallow muck diving or among high currents and some of the fiercest predators in the sea.
              1. Samama Island : Sanama is one of the shallow places excellent for diving and making beautiful photographs of small but well colored creatures and corals.
              2. Sangalaki : Famous for manta rays and turtles, Sangalaki is a small touristic island offshore Kalimantan's coast.
                1. Banggai : The dive sites around Banggai Island are mostly steep drop-offs and interesting fringing reefs.
                  1. Batu Gong : Batu Gong are two excellent steep pinnacles swarmed by marine life and covered in soft and hard corals.
                  2. Entre 2 Mers : Rocks, canyons and excellent muck diving is what divers do while diving Entre 2 Mers.
                  3. George's Wall : George's Wall is one of the most impressive dives in Banggai, covered in the best corals and with the widest diversity of fish.
                  4. Katini : Katini is diving at a nice slope completely covered in hard corals.
                  5. Kebun Laut : Kebun Laut is a very nice shallow dive site with excellent underwater marine life.
                  6. Kokunan Bay : Kokunan Bay is known because of the many Banggai Cardinal Fishes that can be found here.
                  7. Lost Anchor : The pinnacle at Lost Anchor is one with strong currents and large pelagic species.
                  8. Rocks and Wreck : A small wreck and loads of rocks can be found while diving at Rocks and Wrecks.
                2. Bangka : The island chain of Bangka is an overlooked gem at the northern tip of Sulawesi.
                  1. Batu Gosoh : Batu Gosoh is a shallow set of pinnacles often drift dived to visit them all.
                  2. Batu Mandi, Tanjung Pulisan : Tanjung Pulisan is a nice and relaxing dive site to enjoy scuba diving, fish and colorful coral formations.
                  3. Northern Sulawesi Shore : This is a nice, sometimes rough, paradise muck diving site around the north shore of Sulawesi.
                  4. Sahaung : Sahaung is the most popular dive site around Bangka Island known for its many schools of marine fish.
                  5. Tanjung Slope : Tanjung Slope is a nice and relaxing dive site to enjoy scuba diving, fish and colorful coral formations.
                  1. Bunaken, Manado : Manado and Bunaken National Park are well conserved marine habitats with excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities.
                    1. Lekuan : Lekuan 1,2 and 3 are the names of several marked dive sites along one of the best and steepest walls in Bunaken National Park.
                    2. Lumba Lumba House Reef : Lumba Lumba House Reef is a great dive spot to look for rich colorful macro life.
                  2. Gorontalo : Gorontalo is a relatively new dive destination situated in Tomini Bay a few hours west of Bunaken.
                    1. Honeycomb : The deep drop-off named Honeycomb offers rich coral formations, a spooky tunnel and a small cavern.
                    2. Japanese Cargo Wreck : A roaring fire was the reason that this WWII Japanese Cargo vessel ran aground the reef and sank.
                    3. Sentinels : This group of pinnacles with brilliant table corals and sea fans is named Sentinels.
                    4. Traffic Jam : Walls and fish are the main characteristics of diving at dive site Traffic Jam.
                  3. Lembeh : The Lembeh Strait is known as diving on top of one of the worlds healthiest coral reefs creating one of the richest biodiversities.
                    1. Air Prang 1, 2, 3 : Air Prang is a more quiet dive site known for its excellent sand slope and coral bommies in the shallows.
                    2. Angel's Window : Critters and bigger fish hang out at the cave and swimmthroughs around the pinnacle Angel's Window.
                    3. AW Shucks : At AW Shucks, a continuing sandy patch reef, you can hope to find pearls from the nearby pearl farm.
                    4. Batu Kapal : Batu Kapal is one of the best big fish, action hunting dive site in the north of Sulawesi.
                    5. Batu Merah : Batu Merah's highlights are muck diving, cleaning stations and coral bommies swarmed with marine species.
                    6. Batu Sandar : Sponges, hard and soft corals, all in shallow waters which make it perfect for both snorkelers and divers.
                    7. Bimoli Wreck : The Bimoli Wreck named after a nearby factory was a Japanese WW2 ammunition ship that sank by torpedoes.
                    8. California Dreaming : California Dreaming is a great colorful dive with sponges and soft corals decorating the landscape underwater.
                    9. Critter Hunt : Divers will be awarded with spotting, searching and hunting for a wide range of critters.
                    10. Goby A'Crab : Excellent coral, loads of marine life, in one word great for divers and underwater photographers.
                    11. Hairball 1, 2, 3 : Hairball 1, 2 and 3 are some of the best muck dive sites on Lembeh with critters to be found everywhere.
                    12. Jahir, Jari Jari : Jahir and Jari Jari are two very popular muck dive sites with cleaning stations and famous for its frogfish.
                    13. Kapal Indah, Beautiful Boat : This fifty meter long fishing boat has been in the waters for more than forty years now, providing excellent coverage of coral.
                    14. Madidir : At Madidir, divers have to be a bit lucky as you can have the dive of your life or be a bit disappointed.
                    15. Magic Crack : A small crack in the reef attracting loads of sea horses is the reason for spectacular diving at Magic Crack.
                    16. Magic Rock : Magic Rock used to be a single rock filled with small marine life, nowadays moved to its nearby wall and hard coral reef.
                    17. Makawide : Makawadi is perfect for snorkelling, wall diving and muck diving with many species of nudibranches and sea horses.
                    18. Mawali Wreck : This seventy meters long Japanese ship was scuttled on its port side and named after the nearby village Mawali.
                    19. Napo Bronsel : A large coral head named Napo Bronsel offers some nice diving but unfortunately has been damaged by garbage.
                    20. Nudi Falls : Nudi Falls is the richest dive site if you want guaranteed sightings of nudibranchs all year around.
                    21. Nudi Retreat : Famous off course for its nudibranches, pygmy sea horses and sea moths, what else can you expect to find at a dive site named Nudi Retreat.
                    22. Pantai Parigi : The nice healthy reef and white sand of Pantai Parigi offers excellent close-ups of marine species.
                    23. Pintu Kota, Seagrass : Suffering from algae, seagrass and low visibilities, diving here if famous for sights of the halimeda ghost pipefish.
                    24. Police Pier 1, 2 : Photographers will love Police Pier as it is one of the best muck diving destinations in Lembeh.
                    25. Retak Larry, Larry's Crack : Larry's Crack is one of the most popular muck dive sites in Kambahu Bay, often quite crowded.
                    26. Serena Island : Around Serena Island in the middle of the strait, critters are harder to be found than elsewhere.
                    27. Slow Poke : A bommie, some rubble and some fish in between are what Slow Pokes offers for the interested diver.
                    28. Tanjung Tebal : Strong currents, big pelagic species and a rich marine habitat are all characteristics needed for excellent diving.
                    29. Teluk Tembahu 1, 2, 3 : Diving Teluk Tembahu 1, 2, 3 offers sights of critters at all places you look in shallow and deeper waters.
                  4. Selayar : Diving the south of Sulawesi near the island Selayar.
                    1. Caves and Overhangs : Critters, muck diving, caves and huge predators hiding inside them gives diving Caves and Overhangs its glory.
                    2. House Reef Selayar Dive Resort : With a jetty, wall, excellent coral and many fish, diving the house reef of Selayar Dive Resort is a must.

                    5. Shark Point : Different types of sharks are the main reason to dive this deep wall drop-off.

                    2. B24 Liberator : The wreck B24 Liberator was an American bomber in WWII and is still intact.
                    3. Batu Gila : Batu Gila or Crazy stone is a small ridge at depths of 30 meter and one of the best spots for hammerheads.
                    4. Dominique Rock : Dominic Rock is a deep rock starting at 37 meter and filled with gorgonians and whip corals.
                    5. Fishomania, Pinnacle : Fishomania or the Pinnacle is diving with lots of fish and splendid coral formations.
                    6. Goa-goa : Goa-goa is another steep wall dive with very nice bushes of black coral and small caverns and mini caves.
                    7. Gunung Laut : Gunung Laut is diving at a pinnacle surrounded with pelagic such as reef sharks, jacks and tuna.
                    8. Kololio : Kololio Sore is an excellent night dive where all kind of critters are generally spotted.
                    9. Manara 1 : Manara 1 is one of the few places where you can spot a huge albino-white gorgonian field.
                    10. Mimpi Ding-Ding : One of the most popular wall dives on the Togian Islands is Mimpi Ding-Ding at the atoll Pasir Tengah.
                    11. Pasir Tengah : The drop-offs at Pasir Tengah are steep, deep and filled with fish and predators.
                    12. Tapai Wall : Tapai Wall near Kadidiri is diving at a very nice drop-off with many excellent coral formations.
                    13. Una Una : The small volcanic island Una Una is a haven for marine life with excellent diving and snorkeling.

                      2. Gunung Api : The rich soil of the volcanic islands Gunung Api has provided this dive site with coral growth at phenomenal speed.
                      3. Karang Hatta : The wall dive site Karang Hatta allows you to dive with several species of sharks and huge pelagic fish waiting in the currents for their feast.
                      4. Karnobol : Reef fish, pelagic species and critters love to wander around Karnobol and its healthy corals and rocks.
                      5. Pulau Ai : Several dive sites off Pulau Ai enrich the Banda Islands with even more coral and marine fish diversity.
                      6. Pulau Keraka : The rock Pulau Keraka or Crab Island is known as a dive with fish, from common fusiliers to dragon fish.

                    1. Cross Wreck, Critter Corner : The Cross Wreck is named after a huge Christian cross pointing out the spot where the first missionaries landed.
                    2. Misool Island : The smaller islets just southeast of liveaboard destination Misool Island are a favorite amongst muck and coral divers.
                      1. Fabiacet : Fabiacet is the name of a set of dive sites around four tiny islands south east of Misool.
                      2. Goa Besar : Goa Besar is a dive site south of Farondi Island offering a 20 meter long tunnel and plenty of marine life.
                      3. Kaleidoscope : Misool Island is surrounded with a phenomenal coral reef offering some of the best dive sites in Indonesia, so also dive site Kaleidoscope.
                      4. Verena's Garden : Verena's Garden offers brilliant soft coral decorations and a wicked cavern.
                    3. P40 Aircraft Wreck : A small intact P40 Aircraft Wreck makes an excellent dive and was discovered in 1999.
                    4. Shinwa Maru : The Japanese wreck Shinwa Maru sank when it was bombed on its starboard side in WWII.
                    5. Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta : The islands Waigeo, Salawati and Batanta are amongst the last frontier diving paradises in Indonesia.
                      1. Batu Burung, Bird Rocks : Batu Burung or Bird Rocks is a popular dive especially since it is one of the few places to spot tasseled wobbegong.
                      2. Cape Kri : Cape Kri is one of the best corners in the Raja Ampat region with an enormous amount of fish.
                      3. Manta Ridge : Between Mansuar Island and Airborei Island you can spot many mantas at a dive site called Manta Ridge.
                      4. Mike's Point : Mike's Point is a mistakenly bombed rocky outcropping just off Cape Kri, bombed because it looked like a ship from out of the air.
                      5. Passage : The passage is a small 25 meter wide channel between the small islands Gam and Waigeo making one of the best drift dives in Raja Ampat.
                      6. Sardine Reef : Sardines Reef, not named after its many sardines but for its tight packed schools of fish, is a great dense dive site.
                      7. Sel Pele Bay : Sel Pele Bay is known for spectacular critter dives such as Dinding Seletan and Kebung Kerang.
